MFT Supervision
Choosing an LMFT supervisor is an important decision, instrumental to the success of your career as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Whether you are an MFT Intern still in graduate school, or you are establishing your practice as an MFT Associate, or working for an agency, Supervision is still required in your career path, to gain hours on your way to being fully licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist. It is important to let me know about your interests and background in doing therapy and from what perspective you plan to practice.
I am an AAMFT Approved Supervisor, certified to supervise in Texas. My area of specialization comes out of the Psychoanalytic and Object Relations tradition. Attachment styles effect our client’s ability to develop and maintain relationships with the important people in their lives. Setting a reliable frame for therapy is important for clients coming to see us for help with regulating and improving their lives.
We will meet weekly, per MFT requirements, for an hour. I have a few openings in my practice for supervisees at this time. I look forward to hearing from you!
